OPEN HOUSE!

Visit the Engine House at Laws, where our running stock is housed, and ongoing restoration work is being conducted on the Slim Princess Engine No.9

During Hobo Day, inspired by the 125-year-old  tradition established in Britt, Iowa, visitors learn about the culture of migrant workers who rode the rails after the Civil War and during the Great Depression.  Music provided by Pete Watercott and Charles Broten.

Rag dolls used to be made with old scraps of fabric to entertain pioneer children.  Why not make one for that last minute holiday gift?

All materials are provided, and classes are free, but class size is limited, and early registration is recommended.

Come by the Library and Arts Building and create some handmade gifts for your loved ones.
