What's Here:

Inside are rock displays, assay equipment, and Native American artifacts.

Origin:

In the summer of ’65 Paramount Studios came to Laws to shoot a few scenes for the movie Nevada Smith, starring Steve McQueen.  This building was part of the on-location set, and was built to represent part of the fictitious town of 'Sweetwater.'  It was just a shell then, but Laws Museum volunteers went to work to frame the interior and create a real building.
